The Malabar Journal of Agriculture and Environment (MJAE) adheres to the highest standards of academic publishing to ensure the quality, originality, and integrity of all published content. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, case studies, and short communications that contribute significantly to knowledge in agriculture, environmental science, and allied disciplines.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by experts in the respective fields to ensure objectivity and scholarly quality. The journal strictly follows ethical guidelines in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), including policies related to plagiarism, data integrity, and authorship.

Rigorous Double-Blind Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to MJAE undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure impartial evaluation by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and are expected to provide constructive, unbiased, and timely feedback.

Plagiarism Policy

Upholding Academic Integrity & Originality

MJAE upholds strict standards of academic integrity and originality. All manuscripts must be original and are screened using Turnitin software, following UGC/KAU guidelines, with a permissible similarity index of ≤10% (excluding properly cited content). The journal prohibits plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, and misuse of AI-generated content, and requires proper acknowledgment of all sources. Any violation will be handled as per COPE guidelines and may result in rejection, institutional notification, and restriction from future submissions.
